About Kristine Hertzog, PA
Born in Oviedo, Kristine Hertzog is a Florida Native. After graduating University of Florida with a BS in Psychology, she was fortunate enough to be recommended to a position as a Medical Assistant at Dermatology Associates in Gainesville, thus beginning a passion for skin that has spanned over 20 years. Returning to University of Florida to obtain her MS in PA studies, she graduated in 2008 and accepted a position with a (then) small, new practice Suncoast Skin Solutions in Tampa, where she learned medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Additionally, she was able to precept PA students from UF for the next six years.
Marrying in 2012, Kristine and her husband Justin, pursued his career and moved to Brevard County in 2014, where she joined a Dermatology practice
and continued there for 7 years. During that time she started the NP/PA Dermatology Club in Brevard County. Then in 2022, she took a leap and joined Bristol Myers Squibb pharmaceutical company as a clinical liaison. This new career allowed her to connect with many NP’s and PA’s across Florida.
Returning to her first love, Dermatology, Kristine is currently working as a Physician Associate with Brevard Medical Dermatology. She lives in Viera, FL with her husband, her two boys and their mini Labradoodle. She enjoys running, reading and cooking. Kristine has continued her interest in elevating her profession and currently serves on the Board for Sunrise NPPA Derm (and educational conference) and volunteers with the Florida Society of Dermatology PA’s.
